Delta Structural Technology completed the Mann on Main carbon fiber project in Little Rock, Arkansas. The scope addressed basement concrete strengthening through CFRP application and anchors. The project illustrates the coordination of reinforcement details, surface preparation, and access within an existing building.

Project challenge
The work was defined for the basement, where the reinforcement had to correspond to the engineer’s shop drawings and anchor details. Existing finishes and potential service obstructions were part of the coordination context. The recorded scope separated preparation of the concrete from procurement and installation of the reinforcement system.
Project approach
Delta’s proposal to Wagner General Contractors called for procurement after submittal approval, protection of existing finishes, layout, and surface grinding. CFRP anchors were to follow the engineer’s drawings, with composite materials applied to the approved shop drawings. Cleanup and removal of temporary protection completed the stated work sequence.
Delivery and coordination
Staging space and removal of interfering mechanical, electrical and HVAC elements were identified as coordination requirements. Resolving those interfaces gave the installation team access to the specified basement concrete surfaces.
Project significance
Anchored CFRP formed the basis of the basement-strengthening scope. Engineering details, access and prepared concrete surfaces were coordinated so that the reinforcement could be applied within the existing building.
