Delta Structural Technology completed concrete repairs at a parking garage in Oklahoma City. The scope developed for Core Construction included both partial-depth and full-depth repairs at areas identified through drawings and a site visit. The work centered on removal and replacement of damaged concrete, with reinforcement assessment and forming integrated into the repair sequence.

Project challenge
The garage required more than one repair depth. Some locations called for removal through the concrete section, while another area required partial-depth treatment. These differing limits shaped demolition and reconstruction planning. The condition of exposed reinforcement also mattered because corroded steel could require replacement before the concrete was restored.
Project approach
Delta’s scope combined staging and scaffold access with demolition, surface preparation and concrete pour-back. The planned sequence included replacement of corroded rebar where required, installation of forms and placement of new concrete. Repair limits were organized by the areas shown on the project drawings and reviewed during the site visit. That area-by-area approach distinguished full-depth reconstruction from localized surface repair.
Delivery and coordination
The proposal established separate allowances for the repair areas and included a product submittal package. The general contractor was responsible for staging space and permits. Access, concrete removal and forming were therefore coordinated as prerequisites to placement. The differing repair depths required demolition and forming to follow the limits established for each area.
Project significance
The project demonstrates a conventional concrete-restoration scope tailored to different damage depths in one parking structure. Its key distinction is the combination of partial- and full-depth repairs with conditional reinforcing-steel replacement. The case shows how field review and drawing-based repair limits can shape a focused restoration sequence.
