Section-by-section concrete restoration and glass FRP reinforcement in Campbell Soup’s L50 basement.
Delta Structural Technology completed the Campbell Soup L50 Basement Repair project. The January 2015 scope correspondence organized the work into three separately priced sections, combining removal of deteriorated concrete, reconstruction, and glass FRP reinforcement. The sectional approach gave the owner a way to address individual areas or proceed with the full group.

Project challenge
The repair planning identified three sections between column lines 34.6–34.1, 34.1–33.6, and 33.6–33.1. Each section required protection and staging before concrete removal. Defined boundaries allowed preparation and reconstruction to proceed as repeatable work packages.
Project approach
For each section, the work sequence included chipping and cutting concrete, forming, placing repair material and applying two layers of glass reinforcement. The sectional plan connected concrete restoration with the external reinforcement treatment.
Delivery and coordination
The schedule allowance was five days per section: protection and staging, removal, forming, placement and reinforcement, then cleanup. The ability to price each section separately was a practical part of the delivery approach. It tied the repair sequence to defined physical areas and allowed the owner to select the extent of work.
Project significance
The L50 basement project combined concrete restoration and external reinforcement within defined work areas. Those boundaries supported staging, pricing and coordination, allowing each area to follow a consistent sequence from protection through cleanup.
