Localized post-shore installation provided a defined support scope along the Prego sauce-pit beam.
Delta Structural Technology completed a shoring scope at Campbell Soup’s Prego sauce pit in Paris, Texas. The proposed work placed post shores on the south side of the pit beam. It was a localized support assignment with access equipment and mobilization included in the planning, distinct from the broader concrete and composite beam-repair work at the facility.

Project challenge
The support locations were within the sauce pit and associated with one side of a beam. That made position and access important to defining the work. The project scope needed to identify the intended support equipment and its location without merging the shoring assignment with later or separate beam-repair activities.
Project approach
Delta proposed galvanized post shores for the south side of the beam in the Prego sauce pit. The scope combined the shores with labor, mobilization, and access equipment needed for installation. The proposed arrangement focused on providing support at the identified beam area rather than undertaking concrete reconstruction within the same scope.
Delivery and coordination
The work was coordinated with Campbell Soup’s Paris facility and required access to the pit area. The proposal separately identified the support equipment and installation effort. This kept the boundaries of the assignment clear and provided a basis for arranging the localized support work alongside other facility activities.
Project significance
The Prego shoring assignment illustrates the value of defining temporary support as its own construction scope. Identifying the equipment, beam side, and access requirements allows the support work to be planned clearly before it interfaces with other repairs or plant activities.
